CONGRATULATIONS !!!!
The Informative Speeches are nearly finished and now it is time to look ahead to the Persuasive Speeches. What are some of the topic ideas for Persuasive speaking???? Think of what you would like to convince someone to do or to believe. Here are some past residual messages - note that the "canned" beginning includes the word "should" because it lends itself to a persuasive speech.
1. I want you to know that you should start wearing a seat belt when you drive or ride in a car.
2. I want you to know that you should stop smoking cigarettes to increase your quality of life.
3. I want you to know that you should donate time and money to (name of charity or
organization).
4. I want you to know that you should include two forms of exercise in your daily routine.
5. I want you to know that you should start an investment portfolio now.
